Thank you for giving non-profits a chance to earn $1,000 in services at Insty-Prints!

Brighter Tomorrows is a non-profit I support whole-heartedly for their work with children with cancer and their families. The mothers who brought this group together deal with many emotional ups and downs as they see the success stories and the tragic losses of not only their own children, but the many friends they make who battle against devastating childhood cancers on a daily basis.

Brighter Tomorrows holds fundraisers like the MacAttack Run/Walk in Rochester each year and every dollar spent toward printing costs is money they need to recoup during the fundraiser so they can put activities together to help these kids (and brothers and sisters, and Moms and Dads) get the support they need to live happier lives. Please help Brighter Tomorrows by supporting them in this challenge!

I would like to put my vote in for Brighter Tomorrows. They have made a difference in our lives when my daughter was diagnosed with bone cancer. The organization has put us in contact with other families that are going through the same struggles as we are. It is so nice to be able to talk to others who totally understand what you are going through. Brighter Tomorrows has been there for us and is there for us whenever we need them. This group of people deserve to be recognized for the work that they do for others. This group made our family feel more at ease while dealing with a member of the family that was diagnosed with cancer.

I would like to vote for Brighter Tomorrow’s. My daughter is a cancer survivor and we have attended many of their activities and know how vital their support to pediatric cancer families in this area is. Thank you so much for supporting Brighter Tomorrow’s..it is truly the only support in the Rochester area for pediatric cancer.

I would like to say that I appreciate your support to not for profit organizations in the Rochester area. Bringing to light the wonderful things that these groups work so hard to accomplish touches my heart.

In 2003, my family was just settling into life with my baby Aaron when I took him in for a 4 month well child visit. My plan for the day was to get the baby some shots and get home for a quick nap. That morning trip turned into one of the longest days of my life. To think that there was something wrong with my precious baby was more than I or anyone else could comprehend at the time. We were whisped up to Rochester and a couple weeks later we found out that our precious infant had Neuroblastoma.

My precious baby had cancer. Our days were filled with chemo, blood work, scans, surgeries, shots and medications. We did it with the help of the staff at the medical center. But we had a new identity, we were the family with ‘the cancer baby’. No one knows how to deal with that. Heck, we didn’t know how to deal with that. What does childhood cancer do to a family?? No one could tell us and privacy policies kept us from identifying others who were undergoing the same trials that we were.

There were no kids cancer groups around back then but there is now. I would like Brighter Tomorrows know that I support their mission. This group brings together families like no other and that is why I’m writing to you. I would like to cast a vote to…Brighter Tomorrows.  I believe Brighter Tomorrows could really make good use of your prizes to assist them in bringing together and surrounding families with the support that they need.

I hope that no one else has to join the ‘club’ but if they do the Brighter Tomorrows group will be there for you every step of the way. From diagnosis to remission this group has it covered and I appreciate the hard work that this not for profit group puts forth to help our community.

Thanks for taking the time to read my support for Brighter Tomorrows.  Have a great week!!

Rebecca
